Collaboration brings together broad digital and live capabilities to provide more choice and better results to individuals with rising risks for chronic conditions

Minneapolis, MN, and Chicago, IL (March 15, 2017) – RedBrick Health, a leading provider of health and well-being solutions that deliver a better employee experience and a stronger Culture of Health, today announced a partnership with Retrofit, a leading provider of weight-management and disease-prevention solutions, to address obesity and related preventable chronic diseases.

As part of the partnership, employer clients of both companies will gain preferred access to an integrated solution bringing together specialized Retrofit capabilities and the RedBrick Health engagement platform and well-being hub. Retrofit’s personalized solution adds targeted on-demand coaching in the areas of obesity, prediabetes and related chronic conditions to RedBrick’s population-wide, holistic well-being solution.

“We look forward to bringing personalized interventions to RedBrick’s clients who want to address the rising costs of obesity and related conditions,” said Mary Pigatti, CEO, Retrofit. “These interventions meet people where they are, and they evolve as individuals live their daily lives, creating a workforce that is happier, healthier and more connected to those around them.”

Retrofit uses a unique approach to blend live support and digital technology backed by six years of data-driven insights to deliver the most personalized, effective and sustainable solutions.

“The RedBrick team has long admired how Retrofit addresses key pain points in our industry and delivers a scalable solution in a more personal way,” said Jeff Dobro, RedBrick’s chief medical officer and co-creator of its behavior design lab. “This approach enhances our portfolio of solutions and complements RedBrick’s Behavior Change FrameworkTM, which produces meaningful engagement and real results for our consumers and clients.”

RedBrick’s unique behavior change approach, embodied in its RedBrick Journeys® digital coaching experiences and its live concierge-style Person-First coaching, has produced meaningful engagement and improved health in large-scale research. Retrofit will contribute to these outcomes, as Retrofit’s research shows 96 percent of its participants complete the program, 88 percent lose weight and 78 percent keep it off 12 months later.
