You are a skilled systems analyst who is knowledgeable in Data Operations as a whole as well as being skilled in the planning and engineering of Data Operations system infrastructure. You can work independently or with others to understand system design, requirements and requests, as well as administer SFTP, Email, and Continuous Integration tools, and troubleshoot the corresponding systems.

What your day looks like.
RedBrick Health’s Data Operations team develops and maintains a current and thorough understanding of existing system design, architecture, and business logic while maintaining documentation of the system configuration and workflow. They work with affected Business and user areas to plan and administer the engineering of the Data Operations infrastructure. The Data Operations Analysts work to identify and troubleshoot specific file and complex data issues and communicate those issues to relevant parties across the organization. They work together to proactively monitor systems for operational issues, and works the issue to resolution as well as actively participate in system design, audit and other inspections.
Team members participate in the coordination and monitoring of operational automation activities including all related meetings, walkthroughs, technical reviews, testing, and problem resolution and assist in the gathering and analyzing of metrics and suggests process improvements to improve the operational processes including system stability and monitoring. Finally the team doesn’t hesitate to jump into other tasks that are required as part of their overall team responsibilities in order to provide successful outcomes.
What you bring to the team.
- 1-+ years ‘experience in a role like: Data Operations Analyst, Automation Engineer, Systems Engineer, OR Systems Administrator
- Experience with application technology including Linux, REST APIs, SQL, non-relational DBs and shell scripting
- Knowledge of basic Python or PHP
- Possess experience with and understanding of Continuous Integration tools
- Experience with and solid understanding of SFTP, EDI, and automated email solutions
- Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Team City and GitLab
- Experience with Bug Tracking Systems
- Know-how to define, create, and maintain system configurations and workflows as needed
- Demonstrated expertise troubleshooting complex, distributed batch and continuous integration tools
- The ability to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defects
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The desire to work in a team.
